Drillcon Sweden

Drillcon Core AB is the Swedish subsidiary in the Drillcon Group. Drillcon Core operates approximately 20 rigs for surface and underground diamond core drilling on the Nordic market.

Drillcon Core AB is a core drilling contractor on the Scandinavian market. The company was established in 1964 and has during the years developed to one of Sweden´s leading companies in this market. Through acquisitions and organic growth the company has became the leading core drilling contractor company in Sweden, with about 70% of the market. During 2009 the company drilled approx. 78.000 meters and turned over 60 million SEK.

In 2002 Drillcon was awarded the contract for investigation drilling for SKB, Swedish Nuclear Fuel and Waste Management. The objective with drilling programme is to locate and investigate an area with suitable geological conditions for deep repository of spent nuclear fuel.

The bussiness strategy is to provide our customers with cost effective and reliable drilling services for geological information.

The company possesses a great competence in all kinds of drilling and is known as a competent drilling contractor, as well under ground as in surface, and in complicated special drilling works. Besides that the company has great experience of solving problems in urgent situations. Environment, safety and quality have high priority, and Drillcon has established management systems for this purpose.
